★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A so-so onsen place with rotenburo. Not crowded when i came but it's difficult to reach as it is quite out of reach unless you take a bus. Please bring your towels if not you will have to buy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 600 yen hot bath. One indoor one outdoors has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash inside free of charge. Need to buy or rent a towel about 200 yen. Bus stop to Matsumoto station across the street from the place, costs about 350 yen. Takes about 25 mins to get to Matsumoto station. Nice place to warm up after visiting Matsumoto castle in March.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not an onsen connoisseur but I did enjoy this one. The outside portion is small but has nice rocks and landscaping. I enjoyed the cool air in my shoulders while my legs were soaking in 43C water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a bad onsen, quite basic but the price also reflects it (680 yen for adults). Only soap and shampoo comes free. The rest you have to purchase on your own.
