★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 落ちてきた星（隕石）を祀るために創建されたといわれる神社です。
面白いことに言い伝えでは隕石が落ちたのは一度や二度ではなく、何度も落ちてきたそうで、よほど隕石に愛される土地なんでしょうか。
約400年前、最後に落ちてきた隕石は国による科学的分析によって隕石であることが証明され、今では国立科学博物館に所蔵されています。
この地は昔、松巨島と呼ばれた島であり当社はその南端の岬にありました。
そのため当地は星崎と名付けられ現在に至っています。
とまあ、由緒はとても面白いのですが文化財等の見どころはないので遠方からわざわざ訪れるほどでもありません。
ただし、毎年10月に行われる当社の祭礼は尾張地方の伝統的祭礼をよく保存した民俗学的に興味深い祭りですので一見の価値ありです。

This place was once an island called Matsugijima, and our company was on the southern tip of the cape.
For this reason, this area has been named Hoshizaki and has now reached the present.
Well, the history is very interesting, but there is no such thing as a cultural asset, so it's not too much to visit from a distance.
However, our festival held in October every year is worth seeing because it is an interesting folklore festival that preserves traditional Owari traditional festivals well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 火野正平のこころ旅で休息に訪れた神社。隕石が降り創建したといわれる。本殿上の上知我麻社と下知我麻社は熱田神宮の式内社上知我麻神社と下知我麻神社の元宮とも。秋の本地祭りで山車が出て大変賑わいます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ あずきさんの情報通りです。この辺りは元々近くにお城(星崎城/現在は笠寺小学校)があったので、神社周りは城に来る敵を迷子にする為に、T路地ばかりなんだそうですよ。小さな神社ですが毎月ちゃんと管理されていて、地元民に愛されてる静かな神社です。
夏は盆踊り、秋はお祭りしてて、屋台も出てます。
As per Azuki-san's information. Since there was a castle (Hoshizaki Castle / now Zenji Elementary School) near here, the area around the shrine seems to be only T alley to get rid of the enemies coming to the castle. It's a small shrine, but it's a quiet shrine that is well managed every month and loved by locals.
There are Bon festival dances in the summer, festivals in the fall, and food stalls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 普段は静かな住宅街のおやしろですが10月の第一土日の星宮本地まつりの時は盛り上がります。山車が集結してすごいことになります。
It's usually a quiet residential area, but it gets excited during the Hoshimiya Mainland Festival on the first Saturday and Sunday of October. The floats will be gathered together and it will be amazing.

事前の知識、歴史は敢えて調べず、ありのままの
お姿を感じて視てみたい！
いつも私はその想いで神様にお会いします。
社の存在そのものは歴史を感じますが、
やはりこの丘に社が存在していること
緑豊かなこの地に鎮座されていることに
納得を致しました。
熱田社の関連が深い社であることは
神社のエネルギーを感じる方は分かるとは
思いますが、祭神はもちろんのこと
この地、地域を護って下さっている核となる
存在を理解しなければ、幾ら歴史を紐解いても
また文献を熟読しても本質には辿り着けないと
私は想います。
シンプルに遥か昔から今もなお
この地に存在する生けるもの全てに対して
守ってくださっている。
これこそが日本に置いて神社が存在している
本来の意義であり、また地域の方々と共に
生きてくださっていると感じます。
共に生きて共に育み、人間の心に
今もなお存在し続けている✨
