★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創建は鎌倉時代で、花園天皇の勅願所。田原本の領主であった平野氏の菩提寺。本尊は阿弥陀如来で、平安時代中期の十一面観音立像もあるそうです。建物の屋根が印象的です。
It was founded in the Kamakura era and is the Imperial Court of Emperor Hanazono. The bodhisattva temple of Mr. Hirano who was the lord of Taharamoto. The main deity is Amida Nyorai, and there is an 11-faced Kannon statue in the middle Heian period. The roof of the building is impressive.

「草創は鎌倉時代で、正和5年(1316) 花園天皇の頼願所として、本覚院と号し、もと八幡町に 公は五千石をもって当地を領し、教行寺退去の跡へ 正保4年(1647) 代長勝公が今の位置に移して 菩提寺とした。」
「領主平野御廟所」の廟は2棟あり、てっぺんに宝珠がある立派なもの。扉の格子から中を拝むと大きな石の位牌が見えて、歴代将軍のものより立派だと思った。
Jikozan Hongakuin Hongakuin Temple
"The plant was created in the Kamakura period, and in 1316, it was called Hongakuin as a request place for Emperor Hanazono. In 1647, the 4th year of Shoho (1647), the prince of the Chokatsu moved to the current position and made it a Bodaiji temple. "
There are two mausoleums of "Lord Hirano Mausoleum", and it is a magnificent one with a jewel on the top. When I worshiped inside from the lattice of the door, I saw a large stone tablet, which I thought was better than that of successive shoguns.
