E	Edmund McGrath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Cheap food and great views. The buffet at Ebisu lodge was great and the rental staff were very friendly. Skiing is some of the best in Japan. Many pros train here. Suits skiiers more than boarders. Nohi bus from Takayama.

Great runs and great for all levels of ability.

A	Allonsy Tanwy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful ski resort near Okuhida that boasts a fantastic view of the nearby mountain ranges. There are multiple slopes for varying difficulties and 3 ski lifts catering to separstr altitudes. Non-skiers can also try out the snow-tubing, which also pays for a ride up and down the ski lift (gives a bird's eye view of the whole resort). Parking is free, and there are multiple shops in the vicinity offering skiing, snowboarding equipment rental. Do remember to wear sunglasses, as the snow can get blinding after a while!
