★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初めて訪問しました。御朱印を頂きに行きましたが、先に拝んできて！と場所も案内されず、むっとした態度の住職がいて、はっきり言って不親切！！！もう二度と行きません。
I visited for the first time. I went to get the red stamp, but please worship first! There was a priest with a sullen attitude without being guided to the place, and to be clear, he was unfriendly! !! !! I will never go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創建は天元年間（978～983）とされ、江戸時代に入り安長上人によって再興、明暦3年（1657）に始覚山本覚寺の寺号を授かったとされます。境内には石仏薬師如来像や、県指定有形文化財「青銅塔婆」があり、全国でも珍しい銅製の塔婆です。有り難く、津軽三十三観音20番(高野山観音堂)の御朱印を頂きました。
It is said to have been built during the Tengen period (978-983), and was re-established in the Edo era by Anjin Jojin. There is a statue of Buddha Yakushi Nishirai and a tangible cultural property designated by the prefecture, "Bronze Toba", which is rare in Japan. Thank you very much, I got the red seal of Tsugaru 33 Kannon 20 (Koyasan Kannon-do).

町自体は過疎化が進み、墓終いする家が多いそうですが、残って欲しいお寺(建物)です。
It is an old historical temple.
The town itself is becoming depopulated, and many houses have finished their graves, but it is a temple (building) that I would like to see.

快く応じてくれ、寺院の中も写真撮らせてくれました。ありがと?
帰り際山門の内側で住職さんかなぁ、パイプ椅子にもたれ昼寝していました。風邪などひかなければイイけど?
