★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高槻藩の初代藩主・永井直清以来、高槻城主の祈願所として厚い庇護を受ける。本堂正面には、十代藩主・永井直興の子・直寛の書「唱導殿」と記した大きな額が掲げてあり、境内には幕末の漢詩人・藤井竹外の墓がある。

本行寺の道路は、かつて高槻城の内濠であった。
高山右近の時代に諸堂宇は焼き討ちされ、日蓮聖人像のみが住職により備前国に逃れたとされている。
その後高槻に復帰がかなうものの、創建の地への復帰、元の寺号の呼称が許されず、1596年に一如院日重上人の手により現在の地に再建され、そのときに寺号を常智山本行寺と改めた。
1651年高槻城主の永井直清が平癒祈願をし、見事かなったことから本堂を建立し、それ以来高槻城主の祈願所となった。

In 1651, Takatsuki Castle owner Naokiyo Nagai prayed for healing, and the main hall was built because it was wonderful, and since then it has become a prayer place for Takatsuki Castle owner.

この時期下手なことは出来ないので兄弟だけですませました。
写真にもあるように立派なお寺さんです。
らんまが立派なのでみなさん一度見てください。素晴らしいですよ。
早くコロナが終息しますように心からお祈りします。
駐車場もたくさん停めれますので安心ください。
