Higashi Honganji Temple is also luxurious. Close to the Kita-Sanjō Station. There is a rental cycle from Higashi-Sanjo Station.

自由に参拝できました。他に参拝者が居らず広いお堂に１人だけで、何とも言えない感じになりました。
駐車場もありますが、三条の市街地にあり道が狭く、一方通行も多いので気を付けて下さい。
それと、記念スタンプですが12時～13時迄、お寺の方が昼休憩で居ませんので気を付けて下さい。
The main hall was very large and wonderful.
I was able to worship freely. There was no other worshiper, and there was only one person in the large hall.
There is also a parking lot, but please be careful as it is in the city area of Sanjo and the road is narrow and there are many one-way streets.
Also, it is a commemorative stamp, but please be careful because the temple is not at lunchtime from 12:00 to 13:00.

幼稚園の遊具、スクールバスや送迎の駐車場があり、とても新潟県中越・下越・佐渡地方の中心となっている寺院とは思えない。
なお、明治11（1878）年9月21日、明治天皇北陸御巡幸のご宿泊所となった石碑が門前にあった。
