2020年3月31日に電子レンジで破損した五千円札を持って行き交換のお願いをしました。すぐに対応していただいて、別の五千円と交換してくれました。手数料も取らずにありがとうございました。
その前に同じ市内の県内銀行に行きましたが、預金口座がないとの事で断わられました。どちらも預金口座はないのですが銀行と信用金庫では対応が違うのですね！
因みに破損した五千円札は子供に小遣いをあげようとして白封筒に入れて子供の名前を毛筆で書いたのですが、文字が乾かないので電子レンジで乾かそうと入れたら五千円札の左下の光る部分が焼けて穴が開いてしまいました。お札を毀損したのは初めての経験でした。

On March 31, 2020, I brought a broken 5,000 yen bill in a microwave oven and asked for a replacement. He immediately responded and exchanged for another 5,000 yen. Thank you for not taking any fees.
Before that, I went to a prefecture bank in the same city, but I was refused because I did not have a deposit account. Neither has a savings account, but banks and credit unions are different!
By the way, the damaged 5,000 yen bill was put in a white envelope and the name of the child was written with a brush to give the child some pocket money. The glowing part at the bottom left was burnt and a hole was opened. It was my first experience of damaging a bill.
