★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通勤で毎日前は通れど、入った事無しの店でした。
1人二次会（笑）で初お邪魔です。
夫婦で切り盛りしており、店の作りも昔からの寿司屋という感じで、落ち着いており気が休まります。
何と言っても、話好きの女将さんの人柄がよいです。
冷酒と刺身適当に盛合せで頼みましたが、刺身は何食べても美味しかったです。
冷酒は二種類しか置かないとのことでしたが、どちらも刺身に合って、これ又良かったです。
次回は名物の棒鮨を是非たべてみたいですね。
 I used to commute to work every day, but it was a shop I had never visited.
It's the first time I'm in the way at the second party (laughs).
The couple are working together, and the restaurant is like a traditional sushi restaurant, so it's calm and relaxing.
After all, the personality of the talkative landlady is good.
I ordered cold sake and sashimi assorted, but the sashimi was delicious no matter what I ate.
It was said that only two types of cold sake would be placed, but both were good for sashimi.
Next time, I would love to try the famous stick sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Homarezushi offers excellent edo style sushi. The fish is always fresh and bought in the local market in the morning. This is a family owned and run restaurant, and the personal touch shines through.
The star of the show is the restaurant's anago (sea eel) sushi and don. Homarezushi is famous locally for it, and their anago sushi are even sold at Akita Airport and the harbor. If you are a tourist looking for something a bit exotic to try, definitely give this a chance. You will likely surprise yourself at how much you enjoy it.
One drawback for a non-Japanese speaker is that all of the menus are in Japanese. However, the Mr. Kakuta, the chef, and his wife both are eager to try to communicate. Their daughter, though not an employee, speakers perfect English and is often present during the evenings.
