It is almost the same shape and size as the "Asama-sama Tumulus" in Denenchofu, Ota-ku. From that, it seems that it is estimated that the same designer. From the stone chamber, excavations such as rings 2, jasper balls 3, sheath 1 and corroded human bones and dozens of teeth as well as haniwa fragments were recorded. From these remains, the construction of the burial mound was in the 7th century. It is considered to be the last stone burial mound in the lower reaches of the Tama River around the third quarter.
