店内奥のキッチンで、洋菓子と和菓子を作っていてショーケースにはケーキとお饅頭がそれぞれ並んでいます。
安芸吉田銘菓「百二十五萬石」はこちらお店のお菓子です。
毛利元就の家紋・一文字三星が象られたしっとりした皮の中に甘い黄身餡がたっぷり入っていて、お茶にもコーヒーにもぴったり合います。
ハイカラな洋風和菓子と言った風情です。
紺地に銀で毛利氏の家紋と店名が印刷された包装紙も昔と変わらず堅実な職人気質を感じます。
市街地を遠く離れた県北にあり、広島のお土産としての知名度は高くはありませんが、郡山城趾や清社などの観光に来られた方には是非おすすめしたい銘菓です。
It used to be the only shop in the neighborhood where you can buy cakes.
In the kitchen at the back of the store, Western sweets and Japanese sweets are made, and cakes and buns are lined up in the showcase.
Aki Yoshida confectionery "Hundred and fifty-five thousand stones" is the sweets of this shop.
Mouri Genju's family crest, the one-letter-Samsung-like moist skin, with plenty of sweet yolk filling makes it a perfect match for tea or coffee.
It is a high-class Western-style Japanese confectionery.
The wrapping paper on which the family crest of Mori and the store's name are printed in silver on a dark blue background feels the same solid popularity as before.
It is located in the northern part of the prefecture, far away from the city, and is not a famous souvenir of Hiroshima, but it is definitely a recommended confection if you come to Koriyama Castle and Kiyosha for sightseeing.
