神社は小さいが、こぎれいで、清潔。
神社の西側を、旧河内街道が走っている。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日吉神社の西側の道が、旧河内街道です。江戸時代以前には、高倉墓地の場所にあったと言い伝えられ、もと山王権現といって、大山昨命(オオヤマクイノミコト)を祀っています。安産の御守護札を出していて、村中で難産する人は無かったとの言い伝えです。日吉神社の西側の家は、元村長の六郷吟社を主宰した西村宗逸氏の旧家です。
The way to the west side of Hiyoshi Shrine is the former Kawachi Highway. Before the Edo period, it was said that it was in the place of Takakura Cemetery, and it is worshiping Oyama Erikyo (Ooyama Kui No-Mikoto), which is called the former Sanno Rikyu. It is a legend that there were no people who made difficulty in the village while putting out guardian tags of the birth. The house on the west side of Hiyoshi Shrine is the former home of Mr. Nishimura Masao who presided over the former village chief Rokugo Gosha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は大山クイの命、神社の西側の道が旧河内街道です、江戸時代以前には高倉基地のところにあったと伝えられ、もと山王権現といって大山クイの命を祀っています、安産の御札御礼を出していて、村中で難産する人はいなかったと言う事です、神社の西側の家は元村長、六郷吟社を主催した西村宗逸氏の旧宅です、石灯籠は享保8年(1723年)に建立された。
