Even in the summer, the temperature inside the mine is 13 degrees and it is cold with light clothes. You can feel the cool breeze when you go near the entrance. Just a natural cooler. However, the exhibition inside is a little disappointing because there is not much ingenuity. There are some places that are worth seeing, so please do your best.

You can see the tunnel on the site of the mine. Exhibits looking back on those days and mining methods for each era of minerals It is displayed in an easy-to-understand manner using dolls. Looking at the mines that are no longer used due to the passage of time I feel sad. The inside of the mine is about 13 degrees even in midsummer, so if you have short sleeves It may be cold. A little south of the parking lot to see the mine from the outside There is a "concentration site", so from there You can see the remains of a concrete mine on the mountain surface that you often see.

When I stayed in Odate and thought about sightseeing somewhere, I happened to find it. I walked slowly and came around in about an hour. It was interesting to see the mine tunnels from the Edo period to the closing of the mountain in a mine with a long history. Also, it was surprising that the temperature was stable and it was used for storing alcohol. I felt a little lonely, but I would like to come to the tunnel where the temperature is stable in the summer.

I visited the Kazuno Premium Tourist Ticket issued by the Kazuno Tourism Association just before the expiration date of the remaining ticket, thinking that the mine site would be boring. I learned a lot differently than I expected. The image of a mine was heavy labor and harsh, but I realized that safety management is done properly and it is different from a coal mine (I think that the coal mine was also safety managed, but it is easy to ignite. is not it.). It is good for your health by walking in the mine for about an hour.

You can see the state of the copper mine, which has a long history. ¥ 1000 is expensive, but it seems that maintenance costs will be incurred, so it can't be helped. It is also open in winter. There are 1.1km (about 30 minutes) of the standard course and 1.7km (about 40 minutes) of the special course, but of course to the special course. Proceeding through the tunnel, you will see copper veins shining in copper color. Large-scale mining traces by linkage spread, and there is also a storage for wine and other alcoholic beverages. At rest areas where there are a lot of realistic dolls, it is interesting to have a slogan that is conscious of safety. In the second half, there are also large-scale mining traces such as the canyon. Finally, you can also visit the area that was manually mined, such as the Edo period, which is called the old tunnel.

Visited in January, 4th year of Reiwa. A location in the mountains of a heavy snowfall area After purchasing the admission ticket, he said, "Please open and close the entrance door yourself as a measure against snowstorms." If you go through a rugged and sturdy iron door that you can't think of as a tourist spot, you can see the old tunnel itself. Since the average temperature inside is 13 ℃, it is warmer than the outside, but there are quite a few leaks, so be careful.

Fascinating and well-curated historical site. Well worth the trip out and the entry fee. Note that it is quite chilly inside the mine, so summer visitors may benefit from an extra layer. :)
