★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is a tourist information at level 1 to find out more about Hirosaki. Take a shuttle bus, also known as 100 yen bus to visit Hirosaki Castle and Tsugaru-han Neputa village- Awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a 100 yen bus at both sides of station. You have to remember which way they go so that you don't habe to ride long way. If you need help for riding a bus, there are a Bus information place (green sign which says 弘南バス 弘前駅前案内所) and Tourist information Center. People are very friendly so you can ask anybody also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to wait between changing trains from local, like Konan, to JR. Have shopping center in the building, can spend some time choosing sweets and souvenirs from craftmanship of Hirosaki or Aomori.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Kai Tsugaru, this is the most cost efficient way to Shin-Aomori Station. The taxi will cost 4100 (for flat fee) and travel around 25mins. Train will cost 590. Do check the timing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice train station for a local city. There are elements of apples everywhere including a massive apple in front of the ticket gates. Note that some hotels that are not directly next to the train station have shuttle buses. If your hotel does have a shuttle bus, as the tourist information desk where the stops are.
