結果猫は爪とぎをするからダメということでした。
そこに対して思うことはありません、やっぱりダメかぁと言う気持ちです。
しかし、理由説明の時、「猫は壁で爪とぎをするし、猫はちょっと……ねぇ…やっぱり難しいと思うんですよねぇ。」と。
深読みしすぎだとおもいますが、聞いていて全ての猫が壁や床をボロボロにすると思われている感じで、
猫が飼いたいと言っている客にそういう事を言うのか、と思いました。
ちなみに実家の2匹の猫は壁で爪とぎをしたことはありません。
最後に「珍しく」猫も飼える物件があるのでー、と紹介してもらいましたが、猫も可能な物件は他で探せばいくらでもあるし、そこは借りないことにしました。
結局言いたいことは、断る時に相手が不快にならないよう配慮出来るように接客を見直した方がいいんじゃないかなと思います。
私も接客業をずっとしていますが、基本的な事だと思いました。

By the way, the two cats in my parents' house have never had claws on the wall.
At the end, I was introduced that there is a property where you can keep cats "rarely", but there are many properties where cats can be kept, so I decided not to rent them.
After all, I think it's better to review the customer service so that the other party will not be uncomfortable when refusing.
I have been in the hospitality business for a long time, but I thought it was a basic thing.
