★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bonjinsha’s times of glory are long past. It’s collection of Japanese-learning books is mediocre at best. A great pity as it was always the highlight of a visit to Tokyo for anyone interested in Japanese language and culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fascinating - a whole shop of textbooks for people learning Japanese! They have a full range of books from preschool to advanced. Staff only speaks Japanese. Building is a little hard to find and the shop is on the 8th floor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little challenging to locate as it is in what looks like an office building. There is a small sign out front of the building to watch for (check the pictures here). Great selection inside, my wife and I picked up some good beginner books that we hope will help us better understand and use Japanese. The employees inside were very polite and helpful.
