It is a historical shrine in Hachikami-gun, which is described in Kojiki, where Susano Onomikoto, Takemina Katanokami (child of the great country), and Kura Inatamu (the god of rice farming) are celebrated. A clear stream with force from the mountain flows through the village, and it is protected by a pure Kamiki tree in the mountain, which gives rice production abundant fresh water. The people of Shishi are cherished. Yamada Persimmon, which is protected by Kura Inadami and placed in Asahi Shuzo, is cultivated.
