★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔、羽田ヒューム管という大きな工場があり。こそで働く人の団地がありました。区画整理もあり、斜め向こう側に空き地があり当時の子供たちはそこで、遊んだりお祭り、どんどん焼きなどいくつもの行事を行っていました。今は空き地は無くなりました。東町地区広場はそこに新たに出来て主に東町の方が使用、特に遊具等は、有りませんが、子供建ちが遊んでいます。後は近くに保育園があるので、そこの子供たちが、お散歩をかねて遊んでいます。昔は多くの空き地、公園があったのに今は子供達が遊べる場所が少なくなってきて、遊んでいても近くの家の方々は騒音問題。東町地区広場は子供達が遊べる貴重な場所です。
 Once upon a time, there was a large factory called Haneda Hume Tube. There was a housing complex for those who worked. There was also land readjustment, and there was a vacant land on the other side, and the children at that time were doing a number of events such as playing, festivals, dondon grill. There is no vacant land now. The Higashimachi area square is newly built there and is mainly used by Higashimachi. There are no playground equipment, but children are playing. There is a nursery school nearby, and the children are playing for a walk. There used to be lots of vacant lots and parks in the past, but now there are fewer places where children can play. The Higashimachi area square is a valuable place for children to play.
