★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創立年は不詳で御祭神は豊宇賀能売神、であるらしい。つまり丹後に残る、空から降りてきて様々な技術を伝えたとされる天女(伊勢に遷宮して外宮で豊受大神となる)を祀る。
姫宮、という名前から大宮町善王寺の姫宮神社のように、悲劇のお姫さまを慰霊する神社かと思ったら違うんですね。単に女神を祀るから、のようです。
 The year of its founding is unknown, and it seems that the deity is Toyouga Noh. In other words, it enshrines the celestial maiden who is said to have descended from the sky and passed on various techniques (relocated to Ise and became Toyoukebime at the outer shrine), which remains in Tango.
From the name Himemiya, it's different if you think of it as a shrine that memorializes a tragic princess, like the Himemiya Shrine at Zennoji Temple in Omiyacho. It seems that it is simply because it enshrines the goddess.
