御祭神は、「姫太神」と「須世理姫命(すせりひめのみこと)」となっており、岩手県内では、岩手山、早池峰山、姫神山の三山を「北奥羽の三霊山」と呼んでいたそうです。御神木の杉が大きく力を感じます。清々しい気持ちになる神社です。
