Himalayan restaurant and bar - Hachioji

At the Nan Curry shop, I order keema curry every time, but the keema at this shop had the largest amount of meat compared to other shops. It was nice to see the juiciness of the meat on the bottom along with the spiciness of the curry. Also, naan was light and easy to eat with little oil. If it's pretty quick, I'll finish eating one, but I'm glad that I can refill it for free. (If you like chewy naan, it may be a little unsatisfactory.) It's good to have a curry and naan restaurant that has a different charm from other restaurants. It's a little far from the station, but if you're always worried about the sticky surface of the naan, this is the place to go.

February 2021 Dal bhat of Himalayan, which was my favorite last time, went to this shop after 11:30 to eat "Nepalese chicken kana". There was no previous customer, but two men who seemed to be Nepalese came later. The order was Nepalese chicken kana 800 yen including tax, and the drink was hot chai after meals. After waiting for about 10 minutes, various chicken kana and green salad were served on the plate. It is a gorgeous composition of bean soup dal soup, chicken curry, chicken and vegetable spice fried tarkari, spinach sag, rice cracker papad, and long rice indica rice. First, dip or mix the rice with a spoon in each side dish. After eating the delicious and healthy dal soup and rice, I changed the dal curry and rice. Next time, put it on rice and mix everything. After all this is better. After the meal, we had hot chai and had a satisfying lunch. December 2020 Himalayan was introduced as a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Dal bhat without going to Shin-Okubo by searching for a lunch spot in Tabelog, and when you check the map, it was a Nepalese curry restaurant that you had visited before. I checked the phone in advance and visited after 11:40. Are you cycling later? Two male customers came to the store. The order is Dal Bhat, which is decided before entering the store, but it is not written on the menu. However, if you read the menu carefully, Nepalese chicken Kerner is like that. The price is 800 yen, which is the same as the single curry, and it is very cheap with salad and drink. The drink was hot chai. Kerner is the Nepalese word for dinner, and Dal Bhat is a home-cooked dish of Dal (beans) and Bert (rice), usually dal soup, indica rice bhat, chicken curry and stir-fried potatoes and vegetables with spices. It is composed of tal bhat, stir-fried green vegetable saag, and spicy paste. A green salad is also included. The salad was served first, and the orthodox Dal bhat plate was served in 5 or 6 minutes. Generally, the spiciness is medium spicy, gentle and moist. At first, I dipped indica rice in dal soup to make it like soup curry. The combination of strong umami and indica rice does not stop. It's delicious. On the way, I had green vegetables and spicy paste, spicy paste and dull soup, and replaced rice and dull soup. Certainly it is delicious with a full-fledged Dal bhat as it was in the review. At the end, I sprinkled chicken curry on indica rice and mixed it with stir-fried potatoes to make it delicious. If you look at the menu while having a hot chai after a meal, you will find Gulab Jamun, the sweetest sweet in the world! Moreover, 100 yen! !! I didn't put sugar in the chai, so I ordered an additional one and had it matched with the chai.

Favorite shop. Recommended day and night! Authentic Dal Bhat. The soft, moist and exquisite naan is delicious! All the curries are delicious and I'm looking forward to every visit ♪

I've already been to eat about 20 times, so it's a heavy rotation shop for me. The interior is exotic with Nepalese photographs and decorations. The master is very friendly and cozy. I always ask for Dal Bhat. It is a set meal that is said to be a national dish of Nepal with dal, curry and rice. Dal is miso soup in Japan. Bert is rice. When I want to eat a lot, I have another Dal and Bart. It's cheap because it's free of charge. The husband seems to be particular about this rice, and it is indica rice (long grain rice) properly. This is basmati rice. If you ask, they may sell you a 5kg bag of this basmati rice. I also take out naan and curry.

I am a person who loves Nepal and eats Nepalese food ?? It is the only restaurant in Hachioji where you can eat Dal bhat, and it is very delicious no matter what you eat. I'm glad that Hachioji finally made a real Nepalese dish ? The clerk is also friendly and the young people of Nepalley sometimes karaoke. It is also a good spice that reminds me of Nepal.
