匹見峡レストパーク

This is my favorite campsite. There is no supermarket, so you have to prepare properly in advance to go.

I have been camping for two nights since yesterday. The daytime temperature was 28℃ and the night time was 20℃, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The only thing I want to say is that it's not auto so the car won't come to the site. I'm a little disappointed.

In early August 2021, I stayed for two consecutive nights on weekdays. ● Campsite ·access From downtown Masuda, take National Highway 488. It is basically improved. You cannot use National Highway 488 from the Hiroshima prefecture side. From the Chugoku Expressway Togochi Interchange, take National Highway 191 toward Masuda, enter Shimane Prefecture, turn left at the intersection of "Roadside Station Hikimikyo", and come on Shimane Prefectural Road 307. Please note that you will be guided to "Yoshiwa Interchange → National Highway 488" on Google Map. (Tell me when I made a phone reservation.) ・ Campsite The free tent site is mainly gravel and stone. Since it is originally a mountain stream, the ground is not soft. We recommend strong forged pegs. The deck tent site is in good condition. It's 4m square, so I think a big tent is tough. ·toilet There are 3 places in total, 1 place for men and women in the campground, 1 place for unisex in the parking lot, and 1 place for men and women in the barbecue facility. Cleaning is done about once every three days. (Because there were few users on weekdays, the frequency of cleaning may have been low.) The toilet in the campground was well lit even though there were no female toilets, whether the motion sensor settings were not good or it was a ghost. There are no doors at the doorway, so there are many insects inside. The toilet at the barbecue facility had a door and a sticker to turn off the lights, so it was in good condition. (The door was open on the second day and insects were invading ...) Insecticide will be lent at the reception. ・ Cooking place It may be a little crowded during the high season. There is a big desk in the middle of the cooking ridge, so I think it's easy to work. Also, for some reason, a large amount of detergent was placed. There is also hand-washing soap, and there is also an insecticide just in case. There is also an ash dump here. ·environment You can stay cool even in the summer. The sound of the murmuring of the river feels good. There are many trees and there are many shadows from the beginning, but I think it is better to have a tarp because various things will fall from the trees. There are a lot of insects, but it is unavoidable because humans are disturbing the nature where insects live in the first place. There were few mosquitoes, and mainly black flies and gnats. Forest scent and insect repellent spray are sufficient. ·neighborhood There is "Hikimikyo Onsen Yasuragi no Yu" as a hot spring. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. There are facilities that utilize huge mazes and optical illusions. (Please call in advance to see if it is open.) There are also some shops that are open for lunch. (See image) If you drive further toward Yoshiwa, you will find spring water. There is another spring along Shimane Prefectural Road 307. ·others Garbage is taken home. There is no collection. (Excluding charcoal) Alcoholic beverages (vending machines), ice, ice cream, PET bottle drinks, firewood, cup noodles, and charcoal are sold at the reception. The vending machine for alcoholic beverages is inside the reception building, so you cannot buy it when the reception is closed. For the time being, the reception time is from 9:00 to 17:00. (Actually, the reception was open until around 20:00.) DoCoMo and au receive radio waves. Free Wi-Fi is also available at the reception. Softbank and Rakuten own lines are outside the prefecture. ● Mountain stream It is fairly clean water with no private houses upstream. Natural killifish also swim normally. The middle of the river is about 1.5 meters deeper, so it is safe to have a life jacket. There is also a diving spot! Please be careful only for Abu and Gnat attacks after going up the river. There are no changing rooms.

Campsite surrounded by forests and mountain streams You can enjoy camping while watching the murmuring, playing in the river and fishing, and enjoy the nature of Hikimi. Although it can be used at a reasonable price, facilities such as toilets, kitchens, and night lighting are maintained as in general campsites. There is no shower. The difficulty is that the parking lot and the site are a little far apart. Since the campsite itself is surrounded by mountain streams, it is not possible to drive in. You can use the cat car at the campsite freely.

July 18, 2021. The temperature is 23 ° C. Although the water temperature was low, children were very satisfied with the clean water! A life jacket is a must-have for playing in the water. Bungalows are available for day trips. 1100 yen / hour. Due to construction work, some parking lots cannot be used.

Since it is on the river side, I spent time listening to the sound of the clear stream. The water in the river is clear and very cold, so it feels good to wake up in the morning and wash your face! The night starry sky, the clear air in the morning and the sunshine from the morning mist were awesome!
