★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 敷地に軸線を設定したシンメトリーで幾何学的な平面形状を持ち、四隅と中央を広くとって彫像風の塑像（四隅は女性で、中央の一体は男性）を配し、植栽は人工的に整形されている。
子供とライオンの塑像があるのは正面入口から入った左側で、池（中にピラミッド？）がある。ちなみに、２つの庭園は図書館の建物によって独立したものとなっている。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広々としていてサッカーも出来るしコンクリートで出来た舞台もあり色々な事に利用出来そう。全面芝生です。道挟んだ向こう側に図書館あります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 横芝光町の役場の近くにある公園で、国道１２６号からは、銚子連絡道横芝光インターチェンジ入口の交差点からアクセスできます。公園は西洋式の庭園が整備されていて、ところどころに、ライオンなどの像が置かれています。ヨーロッパを思わせるような佇まいです。公園内には、町立の図書館としては、全国でも屈指の蔵書数を誇る図書館があり、視聴覚資料も豊富です。初夏の時期は、緑も映えて、散策するだけでも開放的な気分になります。
