★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本吉町のテナントに行くときこの場所で散策しながらリフレッシュしていた。既存の海水浴場が黒いフレコンバッグの壁になってから、狭いながらもミニ海水浴場として肩代わりの役を果している。シャワー設備が無いのはしかたない。5L位の大五郎の空きボトルに水を入れて、ぬるま湯状の日なた水にしてから子供の体にかけるといいかも。
 When I went to a tenant in Motoyoshi-cho, I was refreshing while taking a walk in this place. Since the existing beach has become the wall of the black flexible container bag, it has served as a super small but small beach. There is no reason not to have a shower facility. It may be better to put water in the empty bottle of Daigoro, which is about 5 L, and use it as a lukewarm day water before putting it on the child's body.

昭和の頃から定置網漁業が盛んな地域でもあり戦時中は定置網の水揚げ金で軍に零戦を寄贈した記録も郷土史料に記載されている。今現在でも定置網漁業は地場産業となっている

何せこの漁港を作り直した一人なので(笑)
漁港としては、この辺りでは一番。
国道からすぐだし、小さな砂浜、ウミネコが営巣してる小さな島、駐車スペースも沢山あります。
漁師の方々も優しかった思い出が。

ここのお陰で、学校行事以外で大谷海水浴場で泳いだコトが有りません(笑)
大震災後、比較的早く砂浜が戻ったので、海水浴客が増えました(笑)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 構内がかなり広く車を停めるスペースもありました。防波堤先端の人が30くらいのムラソイを穴釣りで釣っていました。しかしライフジャケット着用率は低いですね。防波堤も高いので落ちたら危険なので必ずライフジャケットは着用しましょう。自分の身は自分で守りましょう。
