★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔は広島師範学校の実習校でもありました。しかし私立の女学校だった為、戦後は広大附属にならず独自路線を歩まざるを得なかった歴史があります。
数十年前位は花嫁学校的なカラーが強く、比治山短大へのエスカレータ進学が少なくなかった学校です。
しかし今では、内部進学の割合は少なくなり(大学が共学化して更に他大への流出が進んでいます)、女学院や安田には及ばないものの、年々国公立・有名私立大学や各種専門学校への進学が増えているようです。
地元の一般的な比治山中高生のイメージは、良く言えば自分を後回しにしてでも他を立てる奥ゆかしさ、悪く言えば少し世間知らずな面がある･･･感じでしょうか。
中高共通のセーラー服は何十年も変わらないデザインですが、広島市内の可愛い制服ベスト10の上位に必ず入る程の完成度です。
現在も校則や礼儀作法には色々と厳しい学校の一つです。受験生や保護者の方々は、あらかじめその点を理解された上で門を叩かれるようお願いします。

A few decades ago, there was a strong color like a bridal school, and there were many escalator entrance schools to Hijiyama Junior College.
However, nowadays, the ratio of internal enrollment is decreasing (universities are co-educated and the outflow to other universities is progressing), and although it is not as good as Jogakuin and Yasuda, it is a national public / famous private university and various vocational schools year by year. It seems that the number of students going on to university is increasing.
The general image of Hijiyama junior and senior high school students in the local area is, at best, the profundity of standing up even if you put yourself off, or at worst, the feeling of being a little naive.
The design of sailor suits common to middle and high schools has not changed for decades, but it is so complete that it will definitely be ranked in the top 10 cute uniforms in Hiroshima city.
