★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 丸子城本居館は辰ノ口館とも呼ばれ、丸子城主郭の北麓に位置する。川よりやや高く石積みされた平段が拡がり最高所は谷間となっており、そこから丸子城に続く山道がある。
居館にしては日当たりが悪く場所の条件は良くないが、主郭から続く竪堀の下に位置しており丸子城との繋がりは良好である。

The Maruko Castle Main Building is also called the Tatsunoguchi Hall and is located at the northern foot of the Maruko Castle main building. A flat terrace, which is slightly higher than the river, spreads out, and the highest point is a valley. From there, there is a mountain path leading to Maruko Castle.
Although it is a sunny place and the conditions of the place are not good for the residence, it is located under the vertical moat leading from the main building and has good connection with Maruko Castle.
