★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和感のある静かで懐かし駅です。狭い島式のホームに電車が右側から入線する珍しい駅。駅のすぐ西側に大きな桜の大木があり4月初旬が見ごろを迎えます。
 It is a quiet and nostalgic station with a sense of Showa. A rare station where trains enter from the right into a narrow island home. There is a large cherry tree on the west side of the station, and the beginning of April will be in full bloom.

It is a station of Gamagori Station that produces many deficits among Meitetsu, and is close to Mikawa Bay. There is Hazu Kannon at Pumpkin Temple nearby, and Suzuoka, a guest house, so if you want to spend a quiet time, I think it's a good nearest station. The cafeteria also has a fish restaurant, and you can enjoy delicious seafood dishes from Mikawa Bay and Enshu Nada.
