We ended up buying Karumina (500ml 877yen + tax), their local craft beer by Hida Takayama Beer. This dark beer reminded me of flavorful stout beer, or Lagunitas Day Time Ale. Delish!
T	Takayama Local guide on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live in Takayama I am a tour guide. Here you can find all qualities and type o local sakè: Jizake. More than 400 types. Cheap and expencive ones. The staff speak little english and not all are welcoming. And not of all knows customer service as well. I recommend to go there to see a great variety of sakè.
