★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little disappointed because the swamp/pond scenery is not as good as the description found online. Maybe it not the right season when we are there, couldn’t see the different color of the ponds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It would be wonderful if you visit here and walk around ponds. It will be 2-3 Km in 1 hour. You can return from the goal to starting point by bus or taxi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a part of Bandaisan Geopark, geographically and biologically interesting. You can witness the result of eruption of Mt. Bandai in 1888 and botanical succession after that. View of a lot of swamps and streams is amazing. Must visit for nature lovers.

Best to wear some shoes that are waterproof or resistant. The trail gets muddy at certain spots.
