エスカレーターあり。

駅自体は至って普通ですが、駅周辺の住民は貧困層が多いので、できるものなら利用は避けたいところ。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京急本線の駅で快特は停まりませんが朝と夕〜夜にかけて特急やエアポート急行は停車します。
日中は特急や急行が走っていないので普通電車を利用します。
なお、エアポート急行はすべて羽田空港発着になるので下り横浜方面へ行かれる方は京急蒲田駅で乗り換える必要があります。
駅はエレベーターや多目的トイレなどバリアフリーです。
近隣には平和の森公園や人工砂浜のある大森ふるさとの浜辺公園があります。
また京急グループが運営する平和島競艇場・全国の競艇の舟券が買える場外舟券売り場の平和島劇場・温泉や映画館などアミューズメント施設（ビックファン平和島）があり今回は平和島競艇場にボートレースを見に行きました。
平和島競艇場でレースが行われるときはその時間帯に限って駅前から競艇場まで京急の無料送迎バスが走っていて大変便利でお得です。
レースがない日（及びレース日のレースが行われていない時間帯）でもワンコインバス（100円）があります。ご利用ください。
上記の2つのバスは場外船券売り場である平和島劇場や温泉や映画館などアミューズメント施設のビックファン平和島を利用される方も乗車できます。
平和島劇場や温泉施設を利用される方はワンコインバスが無料になるチケットがもらえます。
Express trains do not stop at Keikyu Main Line stations, but limited express trains and airport express trains stop between morning, evening and night.

When a race is held at the Heiwajima Boat Racetrack, the Keikyu's free shuttle bus runs from the front of the station to the boat racetrack only during that time, which is very convenient and affordable.
There is a one-coin bus (100 yen) even on days without races (and during race days when there are no races). Please use it.
The above two buses can also be used by people who use the Heiwajima Theater, which is an offshore ticket office, and the Big Fun Heiwajima amusement facilities such as hot springs and movie theaters.
Those who use the Heiwajima Theater and hot spring facilities will receive a free one-coin bus ticket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅周辺には、大型の商業施設はありませんが、様々なお店があります。スーパーからドトール、マクド、マツキヨ、キャンドゥ、コンビニなどから、飲食店も沢山あります。駅は小さいですが、スタッフの方も常駐しています。また改札を出て左手に向かい道路のところでタクシーを拾えます。
There are no large commercial facilities around the station, but there are various shops. There are many restaurants from supermarkets to Doutor, McDonough, Matsukiyo, candy and convenience stores. The station is small, but staff are also resident. You can also go out the ticket gate and turn left and pick up a taxi on the road.
