★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 観光スポットとして尾張武将縁の地を繋ぐサイクリングロードが出来たらいいなぁと思いながらあちこち立ち寄っています。ここも信長生誕の地と言う事で立ち寄りました。
 I'm dropping here and there, hoping to make a cycling road that connects the land of the Owari warlord as a tourist spot. I dropped in here because it was the birthplace of Nobunaga.

織田信長生誕の地、それがこの城跡です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場は無いので、石碑の真隣に車を停めることになります。石碑と案内板、ちょっとした説明板があります。近くの川を歩きつつ、当時の様子を想像してみましたが、なかなか難しいです。
There is no parking lot, so you will have to park your car right next to the stone monument. There is a stone monument, a guide board, and a little explanation board. I imagined what it was like at that time while walking along the nearby river, but it was quite difficult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは勝幡城址の案内のための石碑がある場所。川沿いに歩くと、本物の城址がある。道路の路面に案内マークがあるので、それを辿るのが良い。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この場所には勝幡城址の碑と勝幡城址の立て看板があるのみ。勝幡駅北口出たところには、勝幡城の模型がある。信長の祖父にあたる織田信定が築いた城。その子信秀が生まれた城でもあり、更に信長が生まれた城でもある説がある。勝幡駅からは徒歩15分程でアクセス可能。日光川沿いには信長公生誕の地の旗が立っている。
There is only a monument to the ruins of Katsuhata Castle and a signboard for the ruins of Katsuhata Castle. At the north exit of Shobata Station, there is a model of Shobata Castle. A castle built by Oda Nobusada, Nobunaga's grandfather. There is a theory that it is the castle where Nobunaga was born, and also the castle where Nobunaga was born. It is accessible from Shobata station in about 15 minutes on foot. Along the Nikko River, the flag of Nobunaga's birthplace stands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 信長さんの出生地には諸説ありますが、ここにかつてあった勝幡城で信長さんが生まれた可能性が一番高いようです。築城は信長さんのお祖父さん織田信定です。
勝幡城址を日光川の堤防沿いに南へ300メートルほど歩いて行くと左手に、ともすると通り過ぎてしまう目立たない場所にあります。日光川は、江戸時代に掘削して今の大きな川になりましたので、当時の勝幡城は、今の日光川よりも西側の地域まで広がっていたようです。
今ではここには石碑しかなく、とても寂しい所ですが、時代の流れを感じさせてくれて、私は好きです。
There are various theories about Nobunaga's birthplace, but it seems most likely that Nobunaga was born at Shobata Castle, which used to be here. Tsukijo is Nobunaga's grandfather Oda Nobusada.
If you walk south along the bank of the Nikko River for about 300 meters on the Katsuhata Castle Ruins, you will find it on your left, in an inconspicuous place that you might pass by. The Nikko River was excavated in the Edo period and became the current large river, so it seems that Shobata Castle at that time extended to the area west of the current Nikko River.
Nowadays, there is only a stone monument here and it is a very lonely place, but I like it because it makes me feel the flow of the times.
