★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hedgehogs don't like being cuddled as they're nocturnal animals. I'd suggest you skip the place so cruelty to animals is not something we condone. I let my hedgehog sleep after I noticed how stressed the animals looked!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and wholesome cafe. Wondeful staff and adorable hedgehogs, but I feel like 30 min option was enough. Hedgehogs sleep for 18 hours per day, so they won't do much. The novelty wears out fairly quickly. But as a once in a while treat, this cafe warms the heart.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our time at Harrywood! The staff were polite and you can tell the hedgehogs are well looked after. They were happy to sleep on our laps and wake up for the occasional snack. The hedgehogs seemed relaxed and happy. I’d recommend coming here if you are a hedgehog lover!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not a person to complain about a place online. The hedgehog was so cute and well cared for. But we sat on a table near a hedgehog that was clearly tired and scared, we didn't want to hold him anymore not to scare him any further. As soon as I moved to the next table the lady working there was like "DON'T TOUCH THESE, ONLY TOUCH THIS" in a rude tone. Just rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being able to touch, carry and feed hedgehogs was an interesting experience. However these animals are nocturnal and just wanted to sleep. Half of them were startled at being touched and even the most sociable ones were still scared enough of being carried to poop almost every time. So the interactions were fairly limited and it felt like we were just disturbing them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cute hedgehogs. You use a ticket machine to choose how long you want to stay, pay for treats, and get an Instax (instant photo/Polaroid). You wash your hands and then are guided to your area. This is not like other animal cafes where you can wander around. You may either be sat at a booth with a trough with one or two hedgehogs in it. There are directions given on handling, pictures, and loud noises. Because hedgehogs are nocturnal, they aren't very active. However, they will respond to a treat near their mouths. It was a nice little cafe overall. I just wish there was space to interact with more than the one hedgehog assigned to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small cafe but very welcoming. Staff are friendly and helpful, and explains how to order the different admission options from the machine. Admission is timed and comes with a drink. The hedgehogs were very prickly and gloves are a welcome option. We opted to spend 30 minutes (980 yen) which is more than enough time and held 3 hedgehogs - they certainly have different personalities. The male hedgehog taro-kun just wanted to sleep and was very docile, whereas the female hedgehogs Lilly-Chan was super friendly and petit-Chan just wanted to crawl all over your hands.
