Takebushima is only accessible by boat. After landing on Takeojima, the pier and its surrounding souvenir shops and restaurants are free, but admission fees are required if you enter the precincts of Hogonji Temple and Tsukuo Suma Shrine. 500 yen entrance fee for adults.
