三代目店主のご主人が、
本職用から家庭用まで、
和洋・包丁選びをアドバイスしてくれる。
買った包丁はその場で手研ぎを行い、
いわゆる本刃付けしてくれるので、
切れ味はさらに増す。
もちろん、持ち込みでの研ぎもやってくれる。
研ぎの料金は包丁の長さによって９００円〜。
柄の修理なども引き受けてくれるはず。
昭和６年生まれのご主人は、
若い頃は、鋸の目立ての仕事が多かったのだが、と昔を懐かしむ。
数は少なくなったものの、大工道具も奥の棚には並んでいる。
その他、左官道具、ハサミもある。
ご高齢なので、営業時間は日没頃までの午後６時前後なので、
はじめて訪れる方は電話で確認を。
