本格的な京懐石料理がいただけ、味は美味しく、また愛想の良い女将さんがおられ、個人的に好きなお店です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 実家が近くのため物心ついた時から、お祝い事やお客様がいらした時は八百捨さんにお世話になっております。
小さな頃から当たり前のように食べていたので、昔は何も感じてませんでしたが、関東に出てきてからは帰省時に八百捨さんを親が取ってくれるとテンション上がります。
たしかに関東に仕出し屋さんの文化はないので、この辺りでこましな店からお弁当を頼んでもこっちが勝手に思ってるようなお弁当（八百捨さんのような）ものではなく、ゴツゴツしたオカズが豪快にもってあり、塩っぱい味付けでいつも萎えます。
田舎の方からしたらボリュームにたいして割高かと思われるかもしれません。
刺身、煮物、天ぷら、酢の物、焼き物、デザートどれも京都の味で美味しいです。
だし巻き卵、最高です。
獅子唐の天婦羅はロシアンルーレットです。
家族で5個6個頼むと誰かが（たまに複数人w）獅子唐の辛い物に大当たりして悶え苦しんでおります。ww
関東人の妻も大層気に行っており、今回は帰省時と誕生日が被り、妻が「リクエストで八百捨さんの仕出し弁当が良い！」と願いしました。
関東人にもヒットしたようで、いつも帰省時は『今回は八百捨さんのおべたべれるかな？』と言う程。

Sashimi, simmered dishes, tempura, vinegared dishes, grilled dishes, and desserts are all delicious with the taste of Kyoto.
Dashimaki tamago is the best.
Shishito pepper tempura is Russian roulette.
When I asked for 5 or 6 pieces in my family, someone (sometimes more than one person w) hit the spicy food of Shishito pepper and was in agony. ww
My wife from the Kanto region is also very interested in it, and this time she had a birthday and when she returned home, and she wished, "On request, Mr. Yahyaku's catered lunch is good!"
