e	ethanarchy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A neat experience, but should really have more space and time for the animals. Japan's standards of care for animal exhibits is pretty lax so it's not like this establishment is doing worse than any of its competitors. Still, it was jarring to see 2 otters in such a small enclosed space, and especially on such a hot day where they really had no respite. We were the only people there and bought extra food just to give the animals something to do, since they weren't given any time or attention by the staff (who I'm sure were just following protocol to not engage with the animals that are there for customer interactions chiefly). Very cute animals, but I wish that I could see them in a more supportive environment.

It was fantastic to see and hear otters, and the rabbits were cute too! It does seem that the otters could use some more space, but it doesn’t seem detrimental to them, though I’m no expert; I could be wrong. The animals do seem happy and they look healthy! I would recommend buying the snacks to feed the animals, is it floods your heart with emotions!

Watching the otters in such a small space clearly bored, hungry and going crazy trying to escape brought tears to both mine and my husbands eyes. We regret so much supporting this cruelty to animals. The others had a small shallow plastic pool to swim in, no foliage or rocks to rest on and they had to reach under the cage or through a tiny hole to get food. It was also during the day and most of the other animals are nocturnal but were forced to play in tourists hands. This is cruel on so many levels. The worst experience ever. I never should have listened to people saying that you have to go to a pet cafe in Tokyo... This was SOOOO wrong. The worst example of human exploitation.

J	Jodee Hayter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place ever. All tho we walked from shibuya it is quite a walk. Best ever holding chinchillas rabbits and feeding otters we had a great day we spent about 1 hour there. You can pay for more time. We also got to hold hedgehogs and feed them.

I feel a little unsure about the otters, it was a fun experience meeting them but I don't know how much time outside of the small display enclosure they get for such a high energy animal.

Granted the otters should have a bigger place to live, it was a little sad but they adored the humans feeding them. My favorite was the hedgehogs! They’re so cute! Not very playful since they are being held by people all day...but they are amazing to hold.

Though, it would be great if they had more space, especially the otters, for swimming & playing. They charge according to which animals you spend time with and for how long. You can opt to do feedings and play time. We did not need a reservation but recommend making one. Quick, fun activity with lots of shopping & food nearby.
