Showa-like shops (izakaya and snacks) are scattered in the neighborhood. Katsudon from "Miyuki Shokudo" is a standard after-sales service in the local area.

D	Dylan G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are nice and friendly. (Front desk man and dining room lady were all I came into contact with. English ability of staff unknown since I speak Japanese enough to get by. At check-in, you get a choice of a Japanese or Western style breakfast. They give you a little card to redeem in the dining room in the morning. I chose Japanese-style. Room is looking pretty run down; there were dirty hand prints/smudges on the walls, dust, possibly Mold in the cracks in the bath/shower. Other than that, the room was pretty well maintained. The walls are quite thin - I could clearly hear snoring in the next room which might bother some people. (I was more worried about the guys health, it sounded pretty bad!) Overall - a place to sleep, great breakfast. (Note: I stayed here for work, so I didn’t actually choose to stay here.)
