★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 老人憩の家 として税金をもちいて建てられており、ランニングコストにも税金が使われている。老人憩の家設置運営要項によれば「老人憩の家」という表示をする決まりがあるが2019年２月現在で表示されていない。それどころか、まるで別の施設であるかのような看板があげられている。そのため福祉施設などと勘違いされるかたが多いようであるが、介護施設ではないし、老人福祉施設でもない。
老人憩の家の利用対象は60歳以上の高齢者である。
しかし、何故か、子育てサロンなど明らかに利用対象にあたらないような、老人憩の家以外の用途でも使用されている。そのため税金の使われ方に疑問が残る。
