★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 白兎神社鳥居から階段を上がり参道右側の平地に歌碑が建っています。
(鰐の背に 似たる岩見ゆ 蒲ならぬ
波の花散る 気多ノ御前に)
昭和5年 宮中の(歌会始)勅題「海辺の巌」の入選歌です。
気多ノ前とは白兎海岸の西側に突き出た岬でこの場に白兎神が上陸したと言い伝えられています。
この岬からの眺めが因幡神話の世界へと思いが巡り、この歌が生み出されたのでしょうか。
歌碑は気多ノ前(岬)から昭和61年に現在地に移設奉納され、白兎神社の名前を全国へ知らしめました。

It is a winning song of the title "Utakai Hajime" in Miyanaka (the beginning of the song) in 1945.
It is said that Ketano-mae is a cape protruding to the west of the Hakuto coast, where the Hakuto god landed.
Did the view from this cape ponder the world of Inaba mythology and create this song?
The monument was relocated from Kitano-mae (cape) to the present location in 1986, and made the name of Hakuto Shrine known throughout the country.
