★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 白兎神社本殿を支える六本の柱を更に支える台座石に菊の紋章が克明に彫刻してあるのが見えました。
なるほどと実感し納得しました。
本殿を囲んでいるのは石垣でしたから菊座石の案内板を読み、最初はこの石垣の中のどこかの部分の六ヶ所に菊の紋章が彫刻してあるものと思い込み、腰を落として行きつ戻りつしながら探しましたが、どうしても見つけ出すことが出来ません。
諦め切れず社務所でお尋ねして(石垣の前の踏石を上がり、身を乗り出して本殿の縁の下を覗き込む)このようにして菊座石と出合いました。
菊座石は丁寧に克明に施されています。
白兎神社は鹿野城主 亀井茲矩公により慶長の末頃に再建されました。
菊座石のある本殿のみが当時の姿をそのまま残しています。

I couldn't give up and asked at the office (I climbed the stone in front of the stone wall, leaned forward and looked under the edge of the main shrine), and in this way I met Kikuza stone.
Kikuza stone is carefully and carefully applied.
Hakuto Shrine was rebuilt at the end of Keicho by Kamei Korenori, the lord of Kano Castle.
Only the main shrine with the Kikuza stone retains its original appearance.
