★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本三大急登の一つです。横手駒ヶ嶽神社の登山口から始まり頂上までおよそ2200mの標高差があります。鎖場などの危険な箇所もありますが基本的には体力勝負です。途中の七丈小屋で宿泊することも可能です。北沢峠からの登山に比べると人が少ないです。
 It is one of the three major rapid climbs in Japan. There is an altitude difference of about 2200m from the starting point of Yokote Komagatake Shrine to the summit. There are some dangerous places such as chains, but basically it is a physical fitness game. It is also possible to stay at the Shichijo Cabin on the way. There are few people compared to climbing from Kitazawa Pass.
