★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet locals field to burn a few unchallenging hours. Gets old a bit quickly but have started to work up a promising terrain park. That might be a way to bring in more riders, while they could also do some work glading trees and make it a destination from tree riders.A decent half day mountain, especially to escape the weekend crowds at nearby Goryu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb view of the lake. Great beginner trails. Bad snow day when we were there. I would put this on the list of resorts to visit if you have the Hskuba Valley pass. We were at Hakuba 47 in the morning and it was an easy drive to Sanosaka for the afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its 5 stars for easy runs and family oriented fun. Always has low numbers so that means no queues for lifts. There is a nice view of Aokiko (Blue Lake) from the top of Lift #3. Another idea would be to go there in Jan or Feb after good snowfall to learn how to ride powder snow. There will be little crowds to worry about while doing this.
