東電所有の発電所で、富士川水系日川より取水している。
丸林橋のすぐ下流にあるが、車道からは建屋・水圧鉄管とも視認できないため見落とし注意。
付近に取水堰(初鹿野堰堤)および水槽があるが、これは下流の柏尾発電所の関連設備であり、初鹿野発電所の取水口はさらに上流にある。
 Hatsukano Power Station
It is a power plant owned by TEPCO and draws water from the Fuji River basin Hikawa.
It is located just downstream of Marubayashi Bridge, but be careful not to overlook it because neither the building nor the penstock can be seen from the road.
There is an intake weir (Hatsukano dam) and a water tank in the vicinity, but these are related facilities of the Kashiwao power plant downstream, and the intake of the Hajikano power plant is further upstream.
