★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 赤埴（あかばね）は、奈良から伊勢へ通じる伊勢本街道の関所であったようだ。
現在でも小さな集落として残っていて、江戸時代の旅籠の建物があったり、天然記念物の千本杉があって、街道マニアは好みそうだ。
こんな赤埴を詠んだ万葉歌
「倭の 宇陀の真埴の さ丹つかは そこもか人の 我を言なさむ」（万葉集）
公民館の隣に万葉歌碑がある
 Akabane seems to have been the gateway to the Ise Hon Kaido route from Nara to Ise.
Even now, it remains as a small village, and there is a building in the Edo period, and there are thousands of cedars that are natural monuments.
