★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大阪にいてたらすごく遠いようなイメージがありますが、実際には（遠いのは遠いけどA(^^;）さほどでもないのが実感。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周辺は、都会、ではありませんが、榛原駅は、特急の停車駅です。
また、大阪上本町駅行きの始発電車もあります。
６時、７時台には電車の本数が多いので、ここから、大阪市内方面に通勤している人が多いようです。

固定パイロン置くなり取締り強化せなそのうち事故が起こる。
微妙なポケットのせいで、我の事しか考えへんア○がおる。
何故そのような構造にした？

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通勤時間帯の阪伊乙特急並びに快速急行以下の列車種別が停車する、奈良県宇陀市の代表駅。
駅前からは大宇陀方面へのバスのりばはあるものの、これと言った駅前商業施設も無くファミマが営業しているのが唯一の救いで至って長閑な駅です。
駅ホーム構造は１番線２番線が伊勢.名張方面、３番線.４番線が大阪.大和八木方面への優等列車追越し可能な駅構造ですが、何故か不思議に１番線の北側に５番線が片面ホームで存在しており、当駅止まりの準急や区間準急、普通電車が大阪上本町へと折り返します。
