suicaの自販機がありがたいです。
駅の目の前には、茨城県で初めて、香川県認定の「讃岐うどん」のお店「あじさい」さんがあります。こしがあって美味しいうどんです、サイクルラックもあります。
It is a chic station with a high design.
I am grateful for the suica vending machine.
In front of the station, there is "Hydrangea", the first "Sanuki udon" restaurant certified by Kagawa prefecture in Ibaraki prefecture. It's a chewy and delicious udon noodle, and there is also a cycle rack.

デザインが良くきれいな駅舎だが無人化されてしまった。
福原駅が有人なのを考えるとどういう線引きで無人化しているのかわからないが、とりあえず勿体ないなぁと思う。
The entrance to the old Higashi Naka Village.
It's a nicely designed station building, but it's unmanned.
Considering that Fukuhara Station is manned, I don't know what kind of line drawing is unmanned, but I think it's a waste for the time being.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明治37年開業の無人駅。平成26年に今のモダンな駅舎に。駅前に美味しそうなうどん屋さんがありました。
An unmanned station that opened in 1897. In 2014, in the current modern station building. There was a delicious udon restaurant in front of the station.
