Though it is an opinion as a mere tourist, I think it is a very good building. Please take a look when you go to Hiyoshi Shrine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ときがわ町にある町立の小学校です。都幾川村の時代には村立平小学校と言う名称でしたが、その後『萩ヶ丘』と改称。近くにある萩日吉神社とともに歴史は古い伝統ある小学校です。現在の校舎はまだ比較的新しいです。
地元の産業である木材をふんだんに使ったかわいい校舎ですね。
It is a municipal elementary school in Tokagawa. In the days of Miyako Ikukawa, it was called “Murahiradaira Elementary School”, but later renamed “Kasumigaoka”. Along with the nearby Hatsukaichi Shrine, it is an old and traditional elementary school. The current school building is still relatively new.
It's a cute school building with plenty of local wood.
