夏場の夜は若者達の肝試しのスポットになっている。
入り口横に一台分の駐車スペースがあります。
地域柄か、御信仰とはかけ離れた始末。
大凡、御神域とは程遠く、残念ながら俗世に満ち溢れた空間です。
過去には社殿にスプレーで落書きが為されていたとか、、、
罰当たりにも程があります。
一応、境内には八幡神社の他に柴上神社(稲荷神社と思われる)がある。
八幡神社の御祭神は誉田別命。
社殿横には謎の灯篭なる自称パワースポットがある。
記録によると、昭和10年に裏山が崩れて神社も崩壊したが、翌11年に再建。
平成24年には、放火？による火災で拝殿・本殿とも焼失したが、平成26年に再建したらしい。
本殿は正月などの特別行事だけ一般に解放されているらしい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 寝屋川治水公園の北側にコナズコーヒーのカフェがあります さらに川を挟んだ北側に八幡神社が住宅の中にひっそりとたたずみ とうりからは見逃してしまいそうな神社ですが
⛩️には1662年建立とありました
境内には見事な紫陽花が真っ盛りでした
同じ花のグルーピングではなく
沢山の種類の紫陽花が一株づつ配置されて楽しませてくれます
斜面には養成中の苗もありお世話されてる方のこだわりもかいまみえるあじさい園でした
