尊敬する人の一人です。自分が一年の時の三年生なので、当時は雲の上の存在です。社会に出ると年齢の差は全く関係ないですが、それでも人格的にも、同性としても尊敬に値する素晴らしい方です…と、思っています。近年でお会いしたのが高校の部活の監督（とても強く、とても理不尽。でもすごい深い社会勉強をさせてくれた先生）の還暦祝いで、高崎のホテルでのことです。禿げてる後輩や先輩（先輩にはなかなか言えませんが…）、えっ？、あいつが？！ と言うような役職の後輩など、現在がとても興味深い仲間が多かったなかで、相変わらずのイケメンぶりを醸しだし、男前だし、後輩にも気遣って下さるし、非の打ち所の無さは昔と変わらずの先輩でした。
蒟蒻は常に食卓に上るものではないですが、体によいし、ダイエットにも効果的なのでアメリカンな食生活が根付きつつある日本で、主食のお供に格上げされるべき副菜の一つかと思っています。
