I mean they do have relatively good prices but the quality...feels like everything is from either china or India.
Now onto the cheap prices. Costco has everything cheaper than Gyomu. Perhaps not meat cause Costco sells good quality meat, not Chinese/South Asian/ South American.
Now check out the disposable plastic cups, they go for 8.5yen a pop (255ml cup) at gyomu, while at Costco you will pay 6.449yen for a 532ml red solo cup. Beers too, can't beat Costco's Kirkland craft beer, both on taste and price. 187yen a bottle, you will be paying more for an Asahi draft at Gyomu than a craft beer at Costco. Anyway, not going to list everything costco sells cheaper/better quality than Gyomu. Don't have the whole night to type this out...
Long story short. Stop being lazy and go get yourself a Costco membership card ;-)
